Look in the yellow pages for leather refinishers. I found a guy that contracts with the BMW and Mercedes dealers for their leather refinishing. He quoted me $150 for the two front seats and arm rests(light gray leather). When he saw the car he offered to do the front and back including arm rests/door handles etc) for $225 a bargain. He used the OEM process and perfectly matched the color. He stated that BMW waters down the process thats why BMW interiors look worn after several years--(he seamed knowledgable for what its worth). The interior looks just like it came off the show room floor. Only trust leather refinishers that specialize in restoring automotive German leathers.

My 88 735iL's front seats are losing their blue/grey dye color on the "wings" due to wear. Leather is still in good shape but is fading to natural. Anyone here been successful at correcting this?
