when mine started to show a little wear I bought a high quality liquid shoe polish that was the same color as the seats and redid them. i applied the polish / dye let it sit a few minuts and then hand buffed it off. I sat on a blnaket for a few days but nothing came off onto. Keep in mind that I used a liquid polish / dye not the type in a tin. I bought the dye a a shoe store. Two years later and it still looks like new.
Total cost about $6.00 and 1 hours time!
