93-740i "One brake light" (failure?)message displayed.
Both bulbs working fine, but one looks a bit darkened on visual inspection.
Both bulbs replaced with local ones(not BMW)and the message does not disappear.
Where is the problem? Any idea? Thanks.

I can only reply by revealing my own embarrassment. Had same problem. Turned out the third brake light in the middle of the rear window was out. Duh.
