Here's some comments: I'm not n expert, and haven't done a brake bleed myself so don't take any of this as gospel...

OK, the pot leaking the oil towards the front of the car is the PAS reserviour - should be filled with Pentosin. CHF 7.1 in my bottle is GREEN; one of the other posts says the other one is green too, so you may not have the proper pentosin in the system anymore... my 87 735 pentosin stuff in the car, being honest, doesn't look green but doesn't look like red ATF either (if the stuff on the engine oil filter cover is the same fluid..)

The mechanic at my end did say that the Pentosin level should be checked after pumping the pedal with the engine off - 10 or so times, and the level should be at the bottom of the filter gauze dome in the pot. Maybe yours was overfilled and your pumping is pushing out the excess?

Also you might be having "mushy" feelings after the pressure against the nitrogen ball is lost; search the archives on it. It's the pressure booster/balancer (best i can describe it to my understanding) that works in with the PAS hydraulic booster, but it's in the caliper side of the system (as I understand it) so it would need re-primimg before the pedal gets hard again...

Check the archives for the nitrogen ball, it might help.
