bolt broken of fuel level sender wat now ???? (archive)

i had to replace one fuel pump of my 750 that was the problem of running in limp mode ( whitout the EML Light schouldn't this go on ??)when i removed the nuts and bolts of the fuel level sender mounting one of them broke.i closed it after replacing the pump an the car is ok.wat about the broken bolt i couldn't replace it it is conected to the gas tank,so can i leave it with one bolt less if it is not leaking ?? or wat to do now ??
any ideas ??
