I have a 90 750 that I am about to sell to a friend. I have a few issues with the car that I want to get settled out before I will be comfortable selling the car. I have had a oil leak from the valve covers that at times leaves a small spot on the driveway. My mechanic tells me that the problem is pressure in the crankcase which is blowing oil through the valve cover gaskets. He believes that once this is fixed, the leak has a good chance of going away. Has anyone here had experience with this? I am bringing the car in Monday to have this fixed and have reservations as to whether or not this will fix the valve cover oil leak.

My current thinking is to wait a couple of weeks before selling the car after having the repair done to be sure that I have solved the problem. I want to be sure that when I turn the car over to my friend that all is OK.
