ISTR that *most* 750's have drive by wire, hence the writer used the term EML which means Electronic Motor Linkage. My 735 does too !!

With EML there is no idle control valve as it's useless, the throttle body motor just does it's own thing to stabliise idles speed.

The fact tha idle is rock steady generally means the motor's OK.

Did some 735's not have EML, I hadn't realised this, was it just when ASC was fitted ?
