RE: 1988 735i. It's now happened a couple of times. Driving along at night with the low beams on and suddenly they go out. Flicking the high/low control I do have high beams but no headlights in lowbeam position. I got to my destination and after the car sat for an hour or so the lights all appear to be working fine. The first time this happened I worked the high/low beam control back and forth a few times and the low beams came back on. The last time this happened working the control made no differance but after the car sat for an hour the lights appear to be ok. I suspect the high/low beam control is not the culprit because I can't duplicate the lights out condition.
Any suggestion(s) would be greatly accepted.
