In Reply to: Thanks! But it does not work. What to check. posted by RostyM on February 04, 2001 at 14:24:22:

Not sure how, but I got it. Checked and had voltage on #2, switch seemed to be working (checked continuity between terminals as I moved switch to different positions). Checked fuse again (couldn't think of anything else to do). Put back together and it now works. Srange, but I like it. Thanks again.

I first checked the fuse, #12, looks good. Changed it for good measure, but no luck there. I am going to get my multimeter out and see if I have power on any of the leads. Not one adjustment works, so I would guess that the problem is with the power lead, or with the switch, which was working when I took it out (I hate saying that). Any suggestions?

According to my 1989 electrical manual the wires are as follows:
black/light blue - term 5
black/brown- term 2
black/gray- term 3
orange/light brown--(ground) term 4

good luck
