i am in the middle of the same problem on one of my 735s. when i went to the salvage yard the first car i checked had the same break. this is a
high stress point. i currently have a new handle in the garage. i still haven't decided if i want to tackle the lock switch. any one done the swap? from the looks of it any fix would probably only be temporary. the metal is to weak and in to much stress to patch.
