Its cured, The epoxy that is. The way that the door lock actuator shifts when its unlocked makes me think that it wont last. Seems that after a while it will crack again. Who knows? I locked and unlocked it about 10 times and its holding, So Far. I'm going to look into removing the assy and see what a pain that will be.


it is just pot metal. the stress of the lock mechanism is probably to intense for an epoxy repair job to last any substantial length of time. i personally only care to take my door apart one time. just my pennies worth.
