Took the car to the dealer and he said it sounds like the exhaust system has some bits inside that have come loose or decayed and will cost me $US300-900 depending on what part of the exhaust. Then I took it straight to a Exhaust specialist and they couldn't find a thing wrong with it, I was even under the car and it wasn't making any "rumble" at all from the exhaust. I have no idea where this "rumble" is coming from except it's right under the drivers feet near the middle console area under the car. While I was at the Exhaust specialist he pointed out a minor oil leak and he said it was the gasket leaking, so I posted a messege on this board to see how much it'll cost cause I don't think it'll be covered under warranty, and if it's too expensive my parents will kill me. The guy said with the gasket they just need to take the cover off it scrape something off the top, put a new one in and close it up, does this sound right?
Also, my car is ideling at 600RPM, when I bring it up to 750-800RPM the noise fades quite abit. Whats the normal factory idel for the 735's?
