Glad to hear that you love the car. I am dreading giving up my 635, especially the 5-spd. It has been my first BMW, and has convinced me that I will own nothing but that marque for years to come. Finding a 735i 5-spd in the condition that this one is in has made me quite happy - I hope it's as good as it sounds.


HVAC woes (broken stepper motors, etc.) are well-documented on the board. If it has self-leveling suspension, these bits can be pricy when they go (you can replace with a fixed shock setup, though). My '88 five-speed (10/87 build date) ate a few instrument motherboards until we traced a short to an unused (uninstalled) Euro headlight washer system. Warning, though; drive one and you might be hooked -- this is my favorite car.
