Mine did that once or twice. First, I recall there is a button or combination of buttons to push on the radio face that resets it, like resetting a computer, in case it stuck between disks. I just don't know what the combination is.

I assume there is power to it, and that you've checked the cables. You might unplug it for a few minutes and plug it back it. It always has power to it, and maybe it will reset itself.

Mine mysteriously quit working, wouldn't work for months, then worked fine one day. Who knows. Hopefully someone has more insight.

dunno what happened, but I cannot get the 6 disc cartridge out (in the trunk of my 89 750il). any help would be appreciated.
