about steel vs. aluminum control arms for the e32's.
I'm not too far away from replacing them on both a 735iL and a 750iL. Thanks for the comments.

The aluminum arm will obviously give you less unsprung weight which translates into quicker response time in getting the tire patch back onto the pavement, most useful in hard cornering on other than smooth pavement. For normal street use you problably wouldn't notice any difference. If you can get the aluminum arms for about the same money then sure, go for it, but the control arms are only a portion of the total unsprung weight so the improvement would be marginal. I Don't know the longevity of Al vs. steel. Just my $.02
