If you have an alpine changer then you should be able to pop out the magazine with a credit card. Just insert in the "long way" along the top of the cartiridge near the middle. It should push the eject lever and pop out the cartridge. if it doesn't work try moving the card a little left and right BEFORE inserting. also try the bottom if the top does not work. some of the older changers were different.

dunno what happened, but I cannot get the 6 disc cartridge out (in the trunk of my 89 750il). any help would be appreciated.



Well it's the original disc changer , so I'm uncertain of the brand. I tried to a credit card, top and bottom. No luck, tried playing with the radio band and tried turning on and off the ignition switch in the accessory position.
Can't seem to get it out. How do you unplug it?
