Think I recollect people having problems with the oil cooler lines loosening and weeping - either those and/or the oil filler down-tube. Might be worth checking... although I can't see a strong link to why your going over the pot-hole would start the leak...

Thanks for you reply. It is commeing from above the grate, as all indications show that inside he grate is dry.


check to be sure its not coming from above the grate if its coming from inside the grate then the torque converter seal is leaking if this is the case then the trans needs to be removed to replace
