Brake problems! (archive)

OK, hopefully someone can help. After long period of city stop and go driving, the brakes start to drag and pedal feel changes accompied by almost no pedal travel.

I thought maybe a caliper was sticking when it got hot, so I rebuilt the calipers...no change.

What could be going wrong. Booster not releasing? Master cylinder not bleeding off pressure? Hydraulic regulator sticking?
