Thanks for all the input - I looked at the fuse box in front, and the cover is busted so that it kind of just sits in place! I hope that humidity hasn't done too much damage. I'll be getting a new cover Monday ASAP. BTW - when the weather got warmer this weekend, the switches worked fine.

According to the wiring diagram, it should be a solid brown wire from the relay module. The front console switch has a brn/black wire to ground. With an problem of windows not working occassionally when it's cold, it's going to be tough to chase. According to the wiring diagram, if the back switches work and the console switches don't, then look to the console switch. In the case of all windows not working from all switches, I would guess it would have to be either supply voltage or grounds. Check the fuse (17) in the front power distribution box, and clean contacts thoroughly. Perhaps when cold the metal contracts enough to interrupt the contact? And the front fuse box is out in the elements more than the switch and relay module. These are just my hunches- could be wrong. But just don't try to lower the window in the cold!! :-) And good luck.

the common ground, which should be a solid brown wire or brn/black wire.
