Sorry to butt in here, and not trying to sound nosey either, but have you checked what state your battery is in? Just sounds to me like you've got an attack of the "ghost in the machine" sort of faults, and they're all electrical, all intermittent, come and go with more/less driving... and from my observation here that could well be a battery packing it in slowly and/or failing earth connections.

Just 2c worth but everyone has focussed on the EML error codes to my reading and if other things are acting screwy then mayne this is another symptom, not the basic fault...

Gilbert, funny that you should mention not being able to roll up/down your windows. I was in Burger King this morning and my windows would not roll down. I arrived at my office and started to investigate and they started working again. If it gets any worst, I may have to trade it or sell it. Thanks for the advise!
