Call the BMW roadside number. They will dispatch a locksmith that can "slimjim" the BMWs. The locksmith will come with a couple of wedges and can open your door. When I did the same thing (with a 2 year old still in the car!!!) they came and did it no charge.

Anyone have any ideas how to break into a '91 750. Apparently while closing the drivers door with the keys in the car, my wife said she she was holding the outside door handle and all of the doors locked as she shut the door. Called the dealer, they said the only way to get in was to order a new key and not to try a slim jim or use a locksmith as it would only damage the door locking mechanism.
