Atleast you knew where the battery is located, I had to call the dealer and hear the service manager laugh, so got you beat in the stupid section.
If look at the lower part of the cushion, where it meets the carpet, you will about in the center you will notice a tab, push it in will go in only about a 1/4" keep it pushed in and give the cushion a very good yank up (technical term)not very much you have wire connections under there, get a flash light locate the connector, undo it. get 17mm socket with an extension you will find a bolt near where the seat belt buckle is located, take out the bolt the bracket will slide out now the seat if free, you just have to manuver it out of the backrest positioning pins. tempting as it maybe you do not need to remove the plactic cover around the switches or the switch knobs themselves. installation will take you more time lacate the pins in the backrest first, then anchor the bracket with the bolt plug the connector in and snap the cushion back in place.
