From what I've read on the Archives your supposed to pump the brake pedal until the oil for the power steering/brakes stops rising (it rises as you pump the pedal) also the pedal wil get harder to push on. But I'm not shure if that is true or not that's just what I read. if you hear diffrently let me know I would like to know how to check it too. Cause after you pump the pedal and then start the car the oil level will drop.
