Need help with the outside mirrors on my 89 750. the control on the door doesn't work at all. My mechanic says that the mirrors aren't getting power however the passenger mirror dips down when the car is in reverse like it's supposed to. Anyone have any ideas?

I had a same problem and I open a booth where the wires comming to the door and I found three wires broken.
I fix those and mirrors works again.
So open the door and open the rubber booth where
wires run and check that.
