Ok, this is a late response, but what the heck. I too had a hard time finding suitable springs for my 750iL. The Hartge's seem to be discontinued, I was warned against rock-hard Eibach's, and the only other ones I could find were about $500 for a set of four. Since I have the self-leveling rear and it sits just right, I couldn't see spending that money for 2 springs I would use.
My solution: purchase 740iL springs from the dealer, and cut 1/2 coil off the top. The resulting drop was between 1 and 1.5 in. Sometime in the future, I may lop off another 1/4 coil to get it "just right".

BTW, I'm running 255/35-18 on 8.5" wheels on all four.

I'm looking for front lowering springs for my 750. I've been able to locate them for the 735 but come up empty for a 750.

Thanks for your help
