Thanks for everyone for helping me out with the purchase of a hand-built 750i.

The car has a flawless paintjob from 1997 and the tech seems to be in great working order with supposibly 150tkm on it, I'm likely going to need to change some minor parts like bulbs in some parts of the deck but nothing serious. Like was suggested, the right mirror does NOT dip on reverse but that's about the only "fault" I could find.

There are actually only four problems with the car:
1. It's so damn fast and the speed doesn't feel like anything. I already came close to wrecking it at 180 km/h as I was showing an Opel Kadett GSi riceboy what bmw stands for on a curvy back road...
2. I've studied the owners manual for weeks in advance and I still find a new feature in the car every 5 minutes. I wonder if I'll ever master this car :-)
3. The OBC has no light in the buttons nor in the small display although the OBC works perfectly and I get all the messages below the speedo. Broken bulb or something more serious?
4. The odometer - from the 735i - has stopped at 300tkm and doesn't move. What's up with that? It would be a VERY usefult part in order to get the oil changes done in time.

It seems to get 21 mpg on highway with cruise on, while doing some seriously lawbreaking overtaking. I know this car is gonna drive me to bancrupcy but I don't care, I just love it.

Thanks to all of you, I'll start bugging you guys if I can't fix something myself.

Henkka
