The simple answer, assuming something electric got wet, which is common, you can either dismantle things, like coil wires, etc., and spray with contact cleaner or WD40 to dry them out, spray WD40 on and into wherever it may be wet and shouldn't be, or just leave the hood up and give it a day in the sun. I wouldn't think you got water into the control boxes, did you?
A hair dryer may help. If it doesn't crank and run okay in 24 hours you start more unplugging and dismantling, but it usually just drys out. Its more likely electric than fuel.

car dies when i start it. I "fooled" with the idle adjustment and it helped a little .This all started after I washed off the engine.Any help out there,Please!!
