Vague thought here to ask... maybe if anyone has ever heard anything on this from their dealer or elsewhere...

On the old L-Jetronic on the BMW bikes there was an altitude correction plug for if you went above 3000ft ASL (cos the air gets thinner, less weight of oxygen to burn per volume). Motronic does not need it because of the Oxygen sensor feedback loop to fine-tune the mixture, I think - anyone know if this is right...?
