The K&N filter debate has raged on for a very long time in several discussion groups according to what I have been able to dig up. We even got into a little one here the other day.
I was looking into using them a while back with the idea of gaining some additional HP and ending the paper filter waste. My internet search yielded four sites with descent content, both pro and con, and I thought I would save you the effort of having to repeat the legwork I had to do. I thought I would repost these links all together in one new message so it wouldn't be so hard to find in the archives later on.
The first one is K&N's own site, the next two are threads compiled on the subject from other discussion groups and the fourth is a .pdf file of an independant lab test. I recall reading comments made recently (31/3/00) by Jim Conforti himself in one of the threads. I hope this helps those that are thinking about it, 'cause I am sure those that are already for or against are not likely to switch sides! Right Henry? ;)
