It should reset by itself. Were the sensors replaced with the break pads? The sensors are basically just a wire that when the pad wears down, they rub against the disk and the rubber rubs off. This causes electrical contact for the warning.

Does anybody know how to remove the warning message from the dashboard without the use of the special reset tool.
The message reads 'brake linings' which have now been replaced. Any help is greatly appreciated.
