Hi Andy. One more word on the brake light warning. Both Bill and Bryan offer good advice. The warning light comes on when the resistance crosses a threshold, which, based on experience of those here, is too low. I've fixed mine before by just twisting the bulbs back and forth to wear off some oxidation. You might try polishing the contacts before you replace the sockets. It's both the contact between the bulb and the holder, and contact between the holder and the socket which need attention. If you ensure the bulbs are well-connected you may find you don't need to replace the switch because you've improved the continuity to make up for the poor switch connection (unless the switch is totally out, that is). Likewise, sometimes a new switch will make up for bad bulb connections. Anyway, hope this helps, and welcome to the board. You'll find this is a great place to learn, and it's sure save me a bundle.
