You can remove the switch unit by gently prying it out. If you pop off the rubber boot for the emergency brake you may be able to reach up from underneath and help push it out as you pry it. I've disassembled the manual/auto switch (another coca magnet) but not the window switches, but they should be fairly easy to do by prying the casing off. Good luck.
