Sounds like a good price on the car. Click on the link below to see my pics of where the block #s are located. the #s are on the 530 site.

Hi. It seems this board is fairly watched and responses come fast and furious. So I would like to pose some questions to which I am hoping to get some opinions on this car I recently purchanse. Hopefully, I don't offend anyone with my questions.

It's a 1993 740i BMW built in late '92. 111k miles on it. Purchased for ten thousand even. Engine sounds and runs strong, no audible noises, slight vibration when idling but the tach is rock steady at 500rpm. Everything is in working order. Previous owner (I think I am the third), had the extended 100,000 mile warrantee on it. No visible defects other than leather wear.

Ok now my questions, was the purchase price a good deal? Is the vibration something I should worry about? I read about the sulfer problems this model year has, and the vibration has me worried. It was a spur of the moment thing, so I didnt research prior to making the deal, and I was also all starry eyed. Who wouldn't want to own a BMW like this one? So any and *ALL* information would be greatly appreciated.
