I run +4s in my '89 750 and it runs hotter than with the other Boschs. It runs like a sewing machine, just like the others would have perfomed-not any less. The +4s won't make your car fly! It would only run hotter it at all, and hence bring with that the advantages of running hotter, i.e., better gas mileage etc. If you need to buy plugs and can afford +4s, then buy them, otherwise buy regulars, you won't miss much if anything at all.

Several of you have posted disparaging comments on the Platinum +4 spark plugs (come in various brands including BOSCH).

Wondering what could possibly be wrong with using them. A spark plug simply creates a spark to ignite the fuel. The pattern of the spark is impacted by the type of plug. But, I can't imagine any real problem with this??

Your comments please.
