Bad luck. This also happened to me, the result a nice little dent and a twisted window guide so that the window wouldn't go down. The door check had sheared in half. Not too expensive or difficult to replace (the window guide I twisted back into shape). In the meantime DON'T use the window (well, don't even use the door), keep it closed.

today while closing my door it suddenly bounces back, and i notice a good size dent in my door. when i check, i see that the metal bar that helps keep the door open has become unattached inside the door and has almost poked a hole through my door. i was so ^#^#%@#^*&()&(^&$^# that i haven't even looked to see why it happened. tomorrow will be a better day.
