Isn't the center bearing part of the drive shaft? If that is the case, I thought the drive shaft was one self contained unit. Do I then have to replace the drive shaft? Hope not. Thanks.


It could be a number of things, I believe a friend of mine changed the rubber center bearing of his driveshaft and that made the difference.


When I accelerate and am between 1500-2000 rpm, I feel a shudder / slow vibration from the center of the car, I think. My first guess would be something related to the driveshaft. The shudder only occurs in the 1500-2000 rpm range and only at acceleration. Any ideas? Thanks.
