Yes, I've just fixed similar problem. In my case: O2 sensors failure was actually a fuel pump problem: intermittent failure. If I had followed my healthy instinct, it would be $ 300.00 but after checking relays, crancase vent. valve & so-on, and finally driving 200 miles in the limp mode to my mechanic, who spent over 8 hours locating the: not completely reconnected (by me) trans module, and spending $900.00, my 110k.93,740i runs like new(!)

Engine ligt would come on and off as you describe.
Sometimes the fuel pump fails completely but sometime
) (
My engine light came on and I lost power.I went from 70mph to 40mph and could not go any faster.
I brought it to my mechanic and he checked the code and it said 02 sensor. He replaced the sensor
that was fine for about 20 min of driving, then the light came back on.I took it back and he checked once again and this time it came back with 02 sensor controller. He checked for vac.leaks, intake gasket
all fine.He said that the cat might be blocked.Anybody ever have this problem??:( :(
