How warm was the engine when you stopped the fan? Unless its realy warm, you will be able to stop the fan. Only when the motor is hot do they 'lock-up'. Does the car run at the right temp? Could be the fan is OK, and you dont need to replace it after all.

Do anynoe have a fan clutch for sale?
I think mine is bad because I could stop it with very little force to when car running idle.
Clutch is connected with one large 32mm nut.
