I was told by the BMW service centre that my rear exhaust has a tiny bit of rust(I couldn't even see it) so the rear will need replacing in 12 months they said. I really want to replace the exhaust because of the "rumble" noise it makes though. I'm not too good at describing noises but it makes a "rumble" sound at idle and fades away after the car starts to move. Also who is your BMW Dealer charging $600 for a rear exhaust, because here in Tauranga we have Coombes Johnston European(Tauranga Branch) and they said it'll be $NZD1200 for the rear exhaust because it comes in two parts and $NZD800 for the front. Also how long have you had your car for and did you buy it from BMW?
