That is the way with my car also Matt. I would have preferred a more 'locking' solution but this is not the case with me. I do know though that with my previous VW Passat I had the locking changed by the dealer (this was an explicit option) to only have the drivers door react unless I pushed the remote twice in quick succession. I would have to check with the dealer but I give it no real chance.
