Where did you get 3.91 gears from? Pre 92 had 3.15LS and post 92 had 3.64? There is one 850 owner who is currently claiming he can install a 4.10 diff from a 535, which series I do not know, but I don't know if the work has been completed.
I assume you do know 850/750 final drives are interchangeable. 850's come stock with a non limited slip 2.9 something and the desireable diff comes from the pre 92 750.
How much more accelleration are you looking for? Have you tried a high stall converter yet?

92 750iL's
I want to put 4.10 or even 4.3 gears in my 750. Now it has 3.91 in it and feels like I can go even lower for quicker acceleration.(This will be experimental,if too radical,I will go back to the 3.9's)
Does anybody know who makes them? Will I have to go aftermarket, or is there another model that used this ratio that can be adapted?
