It sounds like when you put it back together the first time you unsyncronized the two displays and maybe you have to redo just one to match the other? no experience on this just guessing from

Thank you for your imput. I'll try this night to advance "one display" leaving the other untouched. I don't know if this could be acomplished, but I'll try to do with one display disconnected.
More tomorrow.

Many thanks for your promptly response. In the night I've read in the archives that I must disconnect the battery at least 15 minutes to reset both lang. I'll try asap.

Disconnectig the battery for more than six hours did not help. I get the readouts of the OBC in Spanish (mileage, average speed, etc) but the messages (if I leave the lights on, or if I run with the parking brake on) in Italian.

!!I have a multiligual BMW!! :-(
