Most obvously, check for signs of refrigerant loss (i.e. oily deposites at the rubber hose crimps. Check that the A/C compressor is engaging with A/C switched on and temperature dial set to cold. No compressor clutch engagement could mean low refrigerant level. If clutch engages, check for bubbles in the sight glass. Minor bubbles are OK, major bubbling/turbulence in not OK.


My a/c just went from working normally on Friday to only hot air on Saturday, regardless of temp setting on either side. Any suggestions greatly appreciated.
