While mine was in the shop getting new valve cover gaskets, I had intakes powder coated red and valve covers black. WOW. (A little redeneck perhaps to Bimmer purists, but I LIKE IT)

I just thought that while I have the intake manifold gaskets replaced, it would be a good time to have the intake manifolds and valve covers removed, cleaned and chromed. I believe that would look incredibly good!

I've never had anything chromed before so do you know if aluminium can be chromed or if there are any problems with that?
