When you change the plugs use either the ones recommended in the manual (BOSCH W 8 LCR for 735i and BOSCH F 8 LCR for 750i) or the ones they use in the new 750i, those are platinum or something and will last a lot longer.

The OEM cables cost $1000 so I doubt you want to replace them. A Bimmerphile car mechanic friend of mine is convinced that any other cables will do as long as they have the exact same resistance. Also: these are probably also Bosch items so if you order the same parts as Bosch parts and not BMW parts, it will cost you a lot less.
