A couple of torques for you:
1) oil filter cover to oil filter housing
- M10 or M12 (bolt not hex head size) --> 33 Nm (24 ft-lb)
- screw-on cover --> 25 Nm (18 ft-lb)
2) engine oil drain plug to oil sump
- M12 (bolt not hex head size) --> 25 Nm (18 ft-lb)
- M22 (bolt not hex head size) --> 60 Nm (44 ft-lb)

'88 750iL

I have started an oil change, and don't have my manual with the torque settings for the drain plug and filter cap.

Anybody have the figures handy for a 1988 735i? Any help would be appreciated!

SteveB
