You are getting nothing for any money you spend beyond regular. It does not increase power or mileage. Too low an octane hurts -- too high does not help and, in fact, can actually hurt.

I think that 15 mpg is on the low end of normal for a 735. I get around 17 when commuting in Houston rush hour traffic (about 20% free-moving freeway, 80% stop and go).
