No, the motor a/c control module would be for the compressor. I am talking about the HVAC system control module...the one located forward of the evaporator on the transmission tunnel.
You mean the motor a/c control module? Is it the climate control in dash that needs to be replaced?

Your heater valves could be bad. Also, it sounds like a problem with the a/c control module or the stepper motor/mount for the side not responding. What I have noticed is that occasionly, the control module gets confused and does not set the mixing door properly and you get warm air out one side when calling for cold. The problem usually goes away after one or two key off-wait-key on cycles.
I currently driving a E32 735i and when I turn on the a/c. It blows out hot air first and then turns to cold. But sometimes when I turn the a.c on turns hot air and then the right side turns cold after like 5 seconds, but the left sometimes won't and stay on blowing hot air for the rest of the trip. Anyone have the same problem? Is this problem caused by the heat valves? Thanks??
