Is it worth it? I have heard anywhere from 3 to 20 hp increase??

I haven't the foggiest about hp increase but here's a link to an article that really opened up my eyes.

These guys tested K&N on all kinds of vehicles and ended up having much greater dirt levels and engine wear than with paper filters. And eventually ruined and engine at 85,000 miles!

This pretty much says it.

With the V12 block price tag of $15,000 at the stealers, I really won't be interested in putting my engine to this kind of risk even if it would give me 100 hp more - which it doesn't.
