There use to be a product from BMW then I beleive they approved the use of chevron gas with techron as a substitute. This was many years ago. You can also buy it in the bottles but the gas contains it. However today most cars are fuel injected so I would be surprised if most gases do not contain an additive.

Hi again,

Before I try using such products I wanted to ask your opinion on these. I have a bottle of chevron fuel injection
cleaning product that I need to apply into an almost empty fuel tank.

What I want to ask is whether such thing is recommended or would it create more problem or higher fuel consumption..

or damage anything...?
